Uniqlo/IdlF fall 2016 collection

There's a definite East Coast lumberjack preppy vibe, to me. Not as crisp and minimalist as the previous collections, but still in the same general vicinity. (Sadly, they'll probably do the limited size range again and nothing will be available in an XL. Sigh.)

I liked the look of a few but I'm not sure any fill wardrobe holes for me. One of the jackets, maybe. I wish the preview described the fiber content and colors better -- I can never tell black from navy in small photos.

Uniqlo collabs have been some of my best workhorses, especially a few silk shirts from the first IdlF collection and a +J sleeveless wool turtleneck. And the IdlF pieces fit me better than most Uniqlo. I'll be excited to check out the collection when it's online.

I have to watch the vid. Need to see how Ines does this - because yes, my limited imagination is not coming up with better than grunge for stuming ideas.

On a tangent, I have decided Uniqlo is the the Ralph Lauren/ LLBean /JCrew /Tommy Hilfiger of the new millennium. I determine this by observing my uncles.

Interesting - - the jackets have higher stances and multiple buttons. The long sleeved dresses look like bathrobes off the body. I'll be curious to learn more.

Suz, I noticed that about the jackets too. I really like the look. But I have never bought/worn anything from them. Does anyone know how the quality and fit are?
