I live in NYC about a mile from the store and stock up there but I loveee heat tech. Wore them under everything through our very cold winter on my windy walk to work everyday. They don't cling and are really cheap ($10/tank), sit smoothly under sweaters and clothes.

Another vote for Uniqlo Heat tech They offered free US shipping last year too!

I tried the short sleeve scoop neck and the long sleeve scoop neck and loved them both. Great layering, no cling, easy enough to launder and hang dry - in case any one else is thinking of trying them. Nice hems didn't seem bulky at all. With my short arms, I appreciated the 3/4 sleeves. They were just about full length on me, but I didn't want the arms sticking out of my sweaters so it was perfect. . .

I just got mine too big So, I do not recommend sizing generously if you want them for layering/cami under other tops.

Has anyone tried their bottoms for a thin layer of warmth?

I haven't tried the bottoms, but if they have leggings again this year I may. I thought their sizing ran small, but I only got turtlenecks and I sized up so the neck wouldn't choke me.

I'm almost petite on top, so I noticed that the scoop neck was pretty low. Probably so it wouldn't be seen when worn as an underlayer. I was wanting it to fill in the neckline of v-necks, etc.

I may have to customize my SYC to replace mine from last year with a better size. . .

Shoot! That is from last year.
Apparently, they put it out in September. There is a pretty full line in the online UK store, but just a couple of items in the US one- mostly tights.
How disappointing!

@MNSara: I have the leggings from last year. They were a bit sheer (sit down and the knee shows through a bit, like opaque tights that arent super thick), so I wore them more with tunics and dresses, under boots.

I also thought they were kinda short. I'm 5'3" with disproportionately long legs and take a 31" inseam if I'm wearing flats. If I wore flats with the leggings skin would be bare around my ankles, not so good for blistery windy NYC.
