Here are 2 totally unexpected “finds”.

#1-2 is a faux leather black bomber from TJMaxx. I have never found any real leather there or any faux I liked ever, and then there was this one jacket all by itself. I love it! I think that though faux, it works okay because is very smooth plain faux leather and minimal details. that feels soft . No illusions that it's leather, but it just feels great on, fits under winter coats, and at the price point is great for black, which I’ve noted is still a useful color for jackets but problematic for “investment.” So this is a keeper for me. Who knew?

#3-6 –is for K/R advice: shoes for either my imaginary lifestyle or aspirational outfits. Usually I would not have given this type of heel a second look, much less tried on, but..I can walk in them!

Here’s the question: do they look ill-fitting, meaning are they still too gappy and flower-potty ? My eye is conflicted, because I think it’s less noticeable in this shootie look than in an ankle bootie, and I really want the non-ankle height, because I like that look better with sheer hose especially, but of course I can still see the gapping. And, do they still look “modern”? Those are my main questions.

If yes, I would keep as a fun experiment (discount store price) , because I really like how they give a different look from my usual footwear. Or you could try to convince me that even if they look okay, they are bordering on imaginary lifestyle and I should save the $$ for something almost like it but with a more chunky heel that I would be able to wear more often. But if your first impression is they need to fit better, then there wouldn't be a point to playing with them.
