Unexpected color inspiration

Here's my most random color inspiration ever!

My cat scratched me- cause I was playing with his feet and tail. So I went to get a bandaid, expecting brown. Well it was citron- a color I just associate with Angie. It's unexpectedly harmonious with my skin color!

I wore lime as a teen, when my hair was lighter and redder, but never tried citron. I'm not sure I'd want a whole garment in it, but maybe a pop of color somewhere. My next pedi maybe?

Anyone else have a totally odd color inspiration tale?

haha... inspiration comes from the weirdest places! Run with it!

My analyst recommended lime for autumns... in fact, she just about insisted that I should look for something lime in the future. A pedi sounds like the perfect way to dip your toes in, so to speak.

My color experiments usually happen at the thrift store. Pedicure is an excellent first step into citron !

Lime, citron, chartreuse... whatever you call it, I like using it like a faux nude on me (it doesn't blend into my skin quite as much as mustard or camel, so it's like a subtle colour pop against those other pseudo neutrals).

How fun. I remember that once I was inspired by the color of the sky on a Winter dawn, grey and pale pink, and I wore a grey sweater and a light pink chiffon scarf. Generally I get this type of inspiration from nature.
I think that a citron pedi would look very nice and Springy!

I tried on a chartreuse wrap top in Melbourne and was surprised at how much I liked it. I think that colour can work for a DA. Lime or citron would be too bright for my current preferences, but never say never.

I am sorry to hear you got scratched. I have also been thinking abut getting some small item in lime, mainly due to Angie's recent post on wearing orchid (a personal favorite) and lime together. It is not a good color on me, and I don't want an actual skirt/pants, which is usually a good solution for anon-flattering color, so I am mulling it over. I will probably change my mind and stay away.

Ha! As a happy owner of two cats, I also get scratched often but that's a price I'm happy to pay for my cat's company. They haven't provided me with any inspirations but one of them brought me a dead bird a few days ago
I have no idea what made me fall in love with bright orange earlier this year. I got myself a small collection of orange pieces.

Citron would be a great pedi!

Sorting clothes for the wash, my lilac tennis skirt and an aqua hoodie were mixed together. I liked the colour combo!

I can’t remember the colors or items but I found a new outfit when 2 items of my clothes were close together on my bed as I was hanging them up.

love the nail colour ! I’ve got a really weird citron green teed up for my own pedi later today . This citron/ lilac sweater from Simon’s is also in my shopping cart . Bonus shot of my recent attempt to cuddle with one of my two cats .

The polish looks a bit yellower on me than it did in the bottle- almost a flourescent yellow in some lights. Somehow it goes with my whole wardrobe though! I like the idea of keeping my odd color inspirations to pedis but keeping the clothes pretty quiet- for now.

For Nomad, I have a pleated skirt for fall in Halloween colors that includes that citron green and purple. They look spooky together or with orange and black or dark grey. Enjoy the color in the fall.

You might try tossing a pile of different colors of clothes on the bed for inspiration.
