How does everyone choose their underwear choices for the day? What is best to stop lines and to stop your underwear from showing above your clothes? Or is it just something not to worry about?

I choose based on the color of clothes I will wear. For example right now I am wearing head to toe off-white so am wearing nude toned undies so not to show. I use bikini undies that have a band below my naval and is not high enough to show even with low rise pants.
If I were wearing a red sleeveless dress, I would wear my red or hot pink undies.

Actually, I could totally make a flowchart for this!

My preferred undies, by far, are the Calvin Klein sporty-looking bikinis with logo waistband (see below). I will wear these as long as there's no chance of an pantyline visibility. Colour is normally not an issue because I only have one pair of light-coloured pants (that I wear pale pink undies with, so they don't show).

If I'm wearing tight jeans, leggings, or a tight skirt, however, I'll wear seamless boyshorts.

What do you mean by "underwear showing above your clothes?" Do you mean the waistband showing? I only wear low-rise undies, so that never happens.

What i meant by underwear showing above is like waist bands or when your g string sticks out when bending or streching etc.

Ah, I see! Well, I don't wear thong underwear myself, but I always feel that if your thong or bum are visible at all when you bend over, your pants are too low. I remember a time in the early 2000s when low rise jeans were stylish and thong undies were sometimes seen as women bent over (the classic "whale's tail"!). Some of them had a bejewelled string, so clearly the intention was that they would be glimpsed. Having said that, I haven't seen a real-life example of whale's tail for many years now...probably at least eight years? And right now especially, with high-rise jeans being all the rage, you never see the top of a woman's underpants (whatever the style).

Ah. Whale tail. Ive heard that term before. I havent gotten into the high waisted pants craze just yet.
