Unable to Access Nordstrom on line

Is anyone else having this problem? I can't access Shop.Nordstrom.com, Nordstrom.com or Nordstromrack.com. Neither via YLF links/Finds (or any way through YLF). Nor can I access any of these Nordstrom businesses when I type it into the main (called a menu?) bar, or via my search engine Bing. I tried using Google and that doesn't work either. t've been having this problem since Saturday, so for 48 hours. I'm posting this in General because I want to see if I'm alone, or not. Even though it's Technical.

A message comes up and says this:

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://shop.nordstrom.com/"; on this server.

Just checked--all is working fine here (comcast; Arizona..) However, a couple of weeks ago, I had a different issue with Nordstroms online--no access to my account, and my wishlist temporarily disappeared. Called customer service, they put my thru to IT, and within about 4 hours, all was restored. No explanation. I have my own theory.... I've also found that their site is very quirky lately. All sorts of anomalies.....

After I read your post just now, I had the same issue, then none when I clicked on my Wish List and Nordstrom links -- from my most visited list. Ah, busted! I sometimes have problems when going to my Wish List -- says nothing there. Then, it is okay a few minutes later.

Maybe they're having a DoS attack and your domain or IP address has been temporarily blocked. Have you run antivirus lately?

I too have been thinking it might be a problem with my ISP, a small outfit called Conifer Communications. I will call them tomorrow.

Adela I did the reboot, that didn't help. Shiny I use OS X latest software I think it's called El Capitan. But I'll also check for updates. I don't normally run anti-virus software, I never thought it essential for OS X.

Update: I am at a cafe with internet and can get Nordstrom.com etc. So it has to be my ISP. WHY is my ISP trying to stem my shopping habits?

I had some trouble logging in a while back, and I realized it was because when I started to type Nordstrom it was automatically filling in a page other than the main start page.

I use El Capitan/ Safari also.

Also, apologies if this is stuff you have already tried: type the whole address url and don't just go from a bookmark. Also, try clearing your history and / or re-setting Safari.

I've been having issues with nordstrom.com for a few weeks. I can't log into my account and when I try to shop as a guest, my shopping cart often empties unexpectedly. I'm more peeved about not being able to log into my account, though, and check on my Wishlist items. I've tried talking with customer service twice to no avail. They detect no problems on their end. This happens across devices and with Safari, Firefox and Chrome. Argh.

I just made a purchase from Nordstrom online with no issues.

Maybe your ISP thinks you shop too much, CL!

I did have the 'wishlist disappearing' thing happen to me (it reappeared in a couple days), but haven't had the issue of not being able to reach them at all.

I've had that happen when I am surfing using a Mexico IP address, is it possibly your ISP is giving you a non US IP address?
