I'm not sure RoseandJoan; just the thought makes me feel excited but I'm actively job-hunting and not sure I can spare the pennies at the moment. I think maybe I need to be sensible
I've just read this thread and I am so super-dooper excited for you all! You must PROMISE that you will post and tell us all about it. **PROMISE!!!** (Note, that it is not a question but a pretty please demand. )
I honestly got excited just reading this. You girls will have the most fabulous time! I think
Next time Ele comes home to Toronto I will organize the first ever Canadian Ylf convention.
Aussies, you must get in the game too!
Fi, I want to see the Grace Kelly exhibition as well as revisit some of my favourite permanent exhibitions. I might also head to the British Museum or the Imperial War Museum on Sunday afternoon. I'm such a museum nerd, and my poor boyfriend despairs any time we go to London together.
Dawn, I know what you mean. My bf has a limited attention span for museums. He loves looking at things, but is perplexed that I actually take the time to *read* the signage, too.
The Grace Kelly exhibit is awesome, I hope to get to it again before it closes.
Fi, can I just say how upset I am that after MONTHS of no rain at all it's decided to start tomorrow? It throws my what to wear plans (already complicated by my holiday packing) completely for a loop! Stupid uncooperative weather
Ok - it is meant to be showery i.e a little bit of rain...no need to panic peoples.
Plus, this is London, it may be raining in one part and perfectly fine in another, hence the need for a brolly. I'm not going to bother with a mac and I will probably still wear sandals.
Yeah, I checked the forecast and it isn't due to really start until later in the afternoon anyway- should just be cloudy when we meet. Which is good weather for photos!
I'll bring my umbrella anyway, and a pair of shoes which won't be destroyed by rain.
In some good news, my sister who lives in London is around so I'm going to stay with her on Saturday night. I haven't seen her in over a year and I've never met her boyfriend so I'm really looking forward to the weekend.
