Because look what we woke up to this morning!

I dd order the UO fisherman sweater (yeah, that SYC thing is not working out so well)... should arrive today!

What about the tunic sweater with the back zipper from NAS, perhaps a longer pencil skirt, if you are going to work, and snow friendly boots?
If 'no work" throw some grey skinnies;)

Whoah! The local weatherman said Alaska getting all the bad weather. They weren't kidding. We're having an incredibly dry, warm fall. Which is nice but really bad for the fires east of the Cascades.

Wish I could help with the winter inspiration. I was so proud of myself for finally having a decent summer wardrobe that I neglected winter. Fisherman sweater is on the list, so let us know about the one from UO.

Anna, we did have a terrible year! Record snowfall, record rainfall, and now THIS! It's pretty but I'm grumpy anyway.

I am not jealous. I try to not turn the furnace on before October, and later if possible. So far I'm on track. My first day of high school I went in my heavy winter coat. We had had a blizzard. That was mid-September, mind you. We started later than the other schools because the professional football team rented the school residence and fields for their training camp. We students did not complain about that.

I did once see snowflakes in August, but they were just sparkles in the air. Have seen dumps like that in May though. Thank goodness, very, very seldom.

Do you normally get major snow at this time of year?

Relax, everyone! She lives in A-freakin'-laska! What was it called--Jackson's Icebox or Folly or something like that from 8th grade Social Studies?

Anyhow, I have nothing of inspiration to say but had to comment that I laughed at "that SYC thing isn't working so well".

Are you kidding me???? I am speechless! How much snow is that anyway?

Today I rode my beach cruiser on the beach trail - and sweat like a horse! Then I just took my shoes off and walked into the ocean fully-clothed - I was sooooo hot!

You may be in for a shock (hopefully, a *good* shock) when you come down here in a few weeks.

I'm sorry you're grumpy. (I would be too.)

So gorgeous! Hard to imagine, it was almost 80 degrees today and that is unusual for this time of year around here. At least you know it's time to drag out the boots and puffers!

Well we don't get snow where I live so this is just so beautiful to me. Una if its still the weekend perhaps rug up and keep warm (nothing late stating the obvious). If it were me, it would be jeans or leggings, an oversized topper and add coat and scarf if leaving the house.
