I was looking for something else when I came across these. I almost feel like I should warn you it's not for a weak stomach. It's just a pair of shoes, but when I saw it I saw it I felt like was looking as one of those medical photos of a horrible birth deformity. Sorry, I like them. I would totally wear those! And the perfect heel height for me too. The price tag is a bit steep though . It's good we don't all like the same things, huh?

With the intro, I think I expected something truly hideous! The more I look at them, the more I like them. People in Seattle wear stuff like this all the time...my eye might just be much more used to it. But I love the edginess of them!

I’m with the gals. I can see a place for them. I’d wear them if they looked good. I like their edgy appeal. But I like pretty things too. I appreciate loads of different looks!

They aren't my style, but they are definitely not ugly. They are very edgy and I can appreciate that.

The price tag is CRAZY!!! But that's probably because my car isn't worth $1800-I always quote Slyand the Family Stone " Different strokes for different folks" but I really like the British sound of "Courses for Horses"

The main reason I hate them so much is cause they look honestly frightening to me. The reason I said they remind me a scary medical photo, is cause they look like they were wildly slashed up and stiched back together, or maybe it's because having three sets of laces is a little like having three hands or three eyes. I like weird shoes a lot, even a little too much, and I like biker boots too (on other people), but these just don't feel right to me.

I hear what you're saying about the "scary medical photo" thing! They look very frankenstein-y to me. They certainly aren't my cup of too, but I was way to young during the grunge phase, so I don't have a soft spot in my heart for anything from that era.

It's great you brought this up, Plush, because this thread demonstrates the range of what we each can feel is fashionable! This is interesting because in our pursuit of style, it seems we wear best what it is we love and gravitate to....that works for our body type/lifestyle, that is! So I guess I will be the only one waiting in line when these puppies go on sale for 1500 :)...just kidding!

Well, they're definitely a tad on the silly and impractical side, but when you think about it, they're probably FAR better for one's feet than, say, every single pair of stiletto heels you see people walking around in on a daily basis. Fashion is fun, but it's not really prone to moderation, is it?
