*note: I think I'm just venting here - the only solution is to keep trying things on to work out what works ok!*
Yep, its reached a point where I can't put it off any longer! Its warm enough to swim at the beach now, the girls are pestering me, I've put on weight and nothing fits me, so, a pair of swimmers has become a must...
BUT, gosh its frustrating!!
I read Angie's blog posts this morning, and went shopping... From the dozen pairs I tried on today I have discovered:
*I need wide straps - anything skinny makes my shoulders look even scrawnier than they are.
* due to my very long rise, even sizing up in a one piece means my girls are hanging out because all the extra length is used up by my rise!
* one pieces seem to emphasise the size discrepancy between my teensy boob-neck region and my much larger hip-thigh region.
*boy short bottoms are HIDEOUS as they end on my widest part of my thigh.
So I think a two piece - most likely a tankini as I want more coverage - is in order... but just to firm up the individual components now!
LOL anyway, I'm just whingeing here!
I did read in a mag the other day that you should be waxed and have a spray tan before you go swimsuit shopping... wonder if it really helps ROFL!!!
