Laura made these look so good (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-bandwagon), but on me, I'm torn.
Pros:
* Weatherproof! I have recently (after living in 4-season climate all my life *cough, cough*) that weatherproof boots are essential to getting through rainy/sleety/snowy New England winters.
* Expands my wardrobe possibilities for any given day. Up til now, on rain/sleety/snowy days I would have to wear my one pair of jeggings with my one pair of weatherproof knee high boots. Adding the Deanna Uggs to the lineup means I could also wear my Paige straight legs.
* Love the color and distressed toe look - my weatherproof boots would then be: knee high black Blondo flat boots, dark brown LC ankle boots (small heel) and then these mid-calf, brown boots in a very different style...which brings me to one of my main "con."
Cons
1. It IS a different style for me...I do wear apple green cowboy boots, but these are more...rugged? I don't know that my style is so rigid or defined that I couldn't include these, but I know I also put on the YLF goggles when I see an item being worn successfully by others, and think (rather optimistically) that everything will look good on me, too!
2. Oh, I just thought of another possible con...my straight leg jeans fit rather close - I don't get the bagginess/puffiness/volume that I think Angie usually likes...does that make these a no-go? I've never had mid-calf boots - and I don't know if they suit me...my eye is not trained.
