What a fabulous way to spend a day! We got home quite late and were really tired from the long day but I had such a great time. I enjoyed the conversation and shopping tips from such a wonderful group of women.

Ana, thanks for organizing! Your lunch choice was perfect.

A.J., so glad you remembered your camera and took charge of documenting our day. I always love to see the write-ups about the YLF meets and I know others enjoy it too. Also, so happy you went back for the jewelry organizer!

Ironkurtin and Isis, very nice to meet you both! Isis, the linen skirt you bought was fab and will be a great addition to your wardrobe for the summer.

Debbie, Ana, Sarah, A.J.- it was a pleasure see and shop with you all again!

I am looking forward to seeing the clam diggers Debbie bought as I didn't see them in the dressing room and the skirt and shorts that Ana bought looked great, hopefully she will post WIW's on the forum for everyone to see.

Even though I didn't bring home any new treasures, I tried on some things that I may eventually go back for. All in all it was a wonderful day!

Oh, you all look so pretty! What a fun day you had. Those butterflies are incredible.

What a fabulous group of women! Thanks for posting pictures. I think I recognize Sarah's Rebecca Minkoff bag.

So jealous here, but glad you all had a wonderful time! I see IK had nothing but dandelion greens on her plate, no wonder she is looking so fab, lol! Lurve the bag and shoe shots. Happy moments and happy memories, I'm sure!

Claire, you missed the fabulous deep-fried calimari hiding in the greens...

Isis, Rahulio the hissing cockroach likes apple cores from my daughter's lunch. He actually looks more like a prehistoric fossil bug than like a cockroach, which is why he can live in my house without me hyperventilating. I hate to say this, but he's kindof charming for a large disgusting bug. He likes to perch upside down with his head wedged in the corner of his cage. Perhaps he is existentially yearning for the primordial forest of yore and thinks if he can hide his eyes, the ranch house he lives in will la la la magically go away.

I want to see pictures of your scores! Nothing from J Crew?

I m so jealous! Looks like you guys had a killer time!

Such a stunning group of women! Thank you for sharing your day with us, YLF gatherings are the best, aren't they.

I love the sound of your new purchases too!

@Deborah, goldenpig, anne, sarah, Zapotee, Suz, Alicat, Mellllls, Transcona Shannon, Bella, Kirti, and Inge - Thanks! It was a great time indeed!

@CocoLion - I'm sure it was not hard guessing lovely Sarah's high heels, LOL!

@Angie - I originally was going to give my toes a peachy glitter color, but then I spied the forgotten turquoise polish and it was kismet!! I'm glad the vest with the skirt met your approval.

@Amy - Oh how I wish y'all could see that butterfly display IRL! Donna mentioned to me that when she saw it before the lunch gathering, she was on the escalator with her mouth open in awe and later she thought that she must have looked like a country bumpkin who had never been to a city before! LOL! Seriously that display is jaw droppingly beautiful!!

@clearlyclaire - Yes, IK's hard work is paying off! Look at those arms and slender waist!

@ironkurtin - Is that your hand holding those charmingly disgusting bugs?

You must have had some real fun. Lovely ladies and lovely shoes!!! I am jealous now.......

Wish I could meet some of my YLF members.

@fashionista - No time like the present to start organizing one. I can't remember where you are from, but just start a post that you want to have a YLF gathering and see who responds. : )

Ha! "Don't mess with Texas cause those ladies look fab[... and have KILLER pets!]"

I guessed Ana and Ik's shoes alright! And I would like IK's skirt when she's done with it, please? Also her dandelion greens if she isn't eating them. (Don't get them here, love them and miss them! You can keep the calamari, IK!) While I'm about it, I'm coveting Debbie's belt and Ana's shoes too.

Some Fabbers need to get together to run a WLF-inspired cyber-boutique, as complement to the YLF shop! (Angie...?)

You all look lovely. I know you had a fab time.

What a wonderful day! I really enjoyed meeting new folks and putting voices with names and posts. I love it because it adds so much depth for me. It was also really great to see Donna, Debbie, AJ and Sarah again. We missed you Alicat and Patience! Hopefully we can do this again and you can make it next time. Maybe once a season or something? That would be so fun!

AJ, thank you for remembering your camera and taking photos.

I love the striped linen skirt Isis picked up and the seersucker clamdiggers Debbie bought. Donna tried on a denim vest at Madewell that looked awesome on her! Now I want to know if you are going to order it, Donna! Debbie found a cool knit poncho at Anthropologie that she is going to keep an eye on.

IK, I took the COH palazzo pants home that were in the bag you brought. I LOVE them! I have been looking for the perfect pair of really wide leg jeans for a while, but everything out there now is a bit out of my price range. So I am VERY excited about these! Thank you so much! I'm going to see if I can manage to wear them once or twice before summer sets in for good.

I got a pair of silk shorts and a striped skirt at Madewell and some tomato red clamdiggers at the LOFT, all on sale so I was happy. I will try to work them into my WIW posts in the next couple of weeks.

Lovely group of ladies and looks like a really fun day. Those butterflies are so cool!

SO fun - the Austin crew is looking good! Thanks for the glimpse into Texas - happy to hear the meetup was a success!

The paper butterflies are incredible. Wow. Art installation galore.

Thank you, Ana, I hope to be at the next meetup!

SO FUN! Thanks so much for sharing! YLF meetups are the best!

@AJ - Heavens no! That's a pic off the Internet. Yecch.

@ManidipaM - Yes, I also would steal IK's skirt, Debbie's belt and dress, Ana's leopard jacket, Donna's tassle necklace, Isis's floral pb blouse, and Sarah's leather dress.

@kiwi Nicole, Lisa, HelenInCanada, MaryK - Thanks!

@Alicat - You are in TX? Oh I hope to meet you soon!

@ironkurtin - Oh, I thought it was you or your daughter's hand. So you don't have two of those charmers, then?

@AJ - please, three tarantulas, one scorpion, a hissing cockroach, a gecko, a cat, and whatever my daughter brings home in a jar? That's plenty.

@IK - I'm surprised the gecko and cat don't eat up all the others. : P

I loved getting to meet up with you all! I'm glad it worked out (even if it was last minute for me).
Thanks for putting it together, Ana!

It made me laugh - I chose to wear that dress because I can't wear it to work (length). It shocked me how many strangers asked to pet me. Ha! Okay?

Hopefully we can do something again soon. I'm glad I can access YLF at work, although posting pictures is tricky.

@AJ - the cat certainly tries. The gecko is in his own cage. He's smaller than the biggest tarantula, so I wouldn't lay odds on a death match.

So fun! I greedily read every single comment. The food, the shopping, the tarantula talk! I am always the worst at the shoe guessing game, but I knew IK's sandals immediately. Can't wait to see the loot from the shopping trip!
