Hi guys. I've been lurking for a while. But something happened the other day and I thought it funny enough to share.

Quite a while ago--maybe last year or even 18 months ago--I did a little wardrobe cleaning. Among other things, I'd bought a pair of black slides that, theoretically, replaced two other pair of place-holder black slides in my wardrobe. Cleaning things up and staying tidy is important to me so I did a bit of wardrobe purging. A pair of espadrilles and the two pair of black slides found themselves in a bag destined for the donation center.

Fast forward to the present and I've been looking at my WIW's from way back when and feeling nostalgic for all three pair of shoes--not in the least because I find that I am not reaching for the new black slides as often as I'd anticipated. But, they are long gone...what can I do about it?

Well, yesterday I decided to investigate an annoying bag that is in the back of the closet. I've been sure--forever--that it is part of the creep from my husband's side of the closet that keeps pushing over to my side. I look in....and...yea! it's all the clothes that somehow never made the donation center! So I ended up having an opportunity to rescue all three pairs of shoes that I was feeling nostalgic about.

Maybe I was due for a win! I got one, anyway.
