Two trenchcoats & a shredded tunic

I'm still going through my closet so thanks for those who are patiently helping me.

The camel trench is cotton & unlined so I never wear it because it isn't warm or rainproof. When I need a light topper I reach for hip length or cropped jackets. Is there a way I could style this?

Is the black trench too big? The first 3 pics are with only a tank underneath, 2nd 2 of 3 pics are unbelted. Is it too A-line? I need to move the belt loops to my natural waist & that might help the way it looks belted as seen in the last pic where I removed it from the loops & placed it at my natural waist. The last 2 pics are with a tank, light sweater & wool blazer. It seems to fit better but I may have bought this too large because the belt loops were lower than the smaller one. I can't remember.

What do you think of the tank? It is a one of a kind by a high end eco designer & I have seen other high end designers doing it so it's not only a punky look. I like boho & RATE as well but is it ok? I have another tank layered underneath it so you can't see through the shredding.

Is that the Old Navy trench? I really like it. The black one looks too big. The shredded tank is a great UWP item and you should keep it if you can style it (like it both ways but more with the jacket).

Alaskagirl the camel trench was from Heritage 1981, a Forever 21 store. I need to play with styling it I think. If anyone has any tips that would be good because I like the way it looks. It's funny I didn't see myself as UWP but as I am trying on all my clothes & boots I see a lot of military stuff. I guess the old punk fashion I let go of because it was too young has transformed into something that is still urban, rebellious, rocker & edgy but not your typical pyramid stud belt, with bondage pants & plaid that younger punkers wear. Somehow I guess it is a little UWP but I am also very boho at other times because I love the 70s hippy rock era, & cowboy boots in that 70s way like when Gram Parsons & the other country & rock guys wore Nudie suits. I like 60s mod too. I guess this is a subject for another post but I don't know how to have a small workable wardrobe with so many personas. There are others that I like too.

I really like the camel trench. Maybe you can wear more layers underneath it or just force yourself to wear it when it is warmer? It took me a minute to get used to wearing a trench but now I like it.

The black trench looks too big.

I prefer the tank with the jacket. Lots of shredding isn't my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal and think it's a nice version of it.

I love the shredded tank with the moto.

I like the camel trench too, very much. I could see it over black (say, jeans and a turtleneck) with a fringed square scarf. But it's a trench, you could wear it with almost anything and make it work.

The black trench does look big to me too.

I don't even do distressed jeans (this is the third time - at least - they've been in style in my lifetime and it was only in my teens I jumped on board) so I really can't comment on the shredded tank. Although I am loving that belt with the whole outfit. It's more unique to my eye than the tank.

I think the camel trench looks better on you. The black is too big. But if its not lined and you never wear it thats a problem. Maybe both need to go and you get just one that fits and is weather appropriate, or if you have others that work then maybe you don't need them. The tank is not my style, but if its yours definitely keep it.

You are motivating me to continue to go through my closet. Everytime I see one of your threads about you going through the clothes in your closet, I feel compelled to do it myself - and get at least 2 items out that I make a decision on. So - thank you for your help!

I like the camel trench on you, and agree with others that the black is too large so I would vote to pass that along. The shredded tank looks great as styled in #8!
