Help! Two red Lands' End coats on sale - should I order one?

I've just seen that there are two red woolblend coats on sale right now and I thought I could try and order one. I think Lands' End has good quality when it comes to coats and the price is really good! I often read that they tend to be slightly big - do you think that a 36 should work out for me? I think I normally would wear a 38 in a coat.

Which one do you prefer? Or should I stay away from both? I think I have to make a quick decision about it, seems like they sell quickly.

Although I can't tell you about the sizing, I can tell you that I've had good luck with items from Land's End. They tend to be made nicely.

I really like the first coat and I be you would look great in it. I'm not so crazy about the second one.

Astrid - I'm totally with Amy. That first coat is lovely and I think it would look great on you. There's something too "busy" about the second one - too many buttons maybe?

I prefer #1. I think it's a lovely style and will be flattering on. Like Amy, #2 doesn't appeal to me.

I have also had good luck with the quality of Lands' End.

I also liked the first one best, but I wasn't completely sure. It's really great to be able to ask for instant input here on YLF.

I've just ordered the first one, they do free returns so it shouldn't be a problem if it doesn't fit. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I was just going to say that I hope they have free returns! I like Lands End quality but I find that a lot of their clothes tend to be baggy. So whenever I order from them, I have to remember that I may need to return the clothes if they don't fit right, and often end up returning more than 50% of my orders. Fortunately, I've never had a problem returning their clothes since they tend to have excellent customer service. Hope the coat looks great on you!

Makrame, I've read some comments on their clothing and many people said that some pieces were baggier than they seemed to be in the pictures. I just hope the coat works for me!

I hope it works out--looks like a great coat and great price. I think this will look so pretty on you! I do find that Lands End cuts roomy, but for a winter coat that may not be bad.

Astrid the first photo isnt coming up for me. I have looked at the second coat and I have to say I don't see you in it. Sounds like #1 is the way to go.

Thanks Freckles, but I still got the coat! I ordered it fairly quickly after I asked the question, I just mentioned that it's sold out now because Deborah couldn't see the pics anymore. I hope it arrives at the end of the week!
