I totally love seeing what other people find when thrifting, so I hope others are interested in mine as well. I really haven’t been shopping, been avoiding the mall etc., but maybe that’s giving me good thrift store karma.
First round was a few weeks ago but everything was mostly summer-y so I’ve only worn one piece:
Silk houndstooth print top from BR - wore this last week and even with a sweater and a scarf I was cold all day, so it needs to wait for warmer weather. Love the print and the feel of the silk though.
Violet skirt from Eileen Fisher; this is a fun crinkled cotton texture that’s hard to see in the pic. It’s also that tea length that Angie was blogging about recently, and I”m not sure if it suits me, so I will have to take a pic and have y’all advise me about hemming or not.
Brown walking shorts for summer
Sleeveless knit print dress
Black stretch pants from Talbots - I fear that Stacy & Clinton would call these ‘i give up pants’ but they are a lovely knit RPL fabric and I’m hoping that they’ll fit me through quite a few more pounds of weight loss.
And red sandals from Cole Haan. I paid a bit too much for these really, but they’re comfy and cute.
Second round was yesterday:
Brown cord skirt
Blue perforated belt
Olive pants from BR - these are too small right now but hopefully not for long.
Ultraviolet cap-sleeve cardigan
Sea blue button-up shirt
White linen shirt - think I’ll replace the buttons on this
Brown tunic-y blouse, this has ties that I think I’ll remove as they fall a bit high on me
And red Steve Madden flats - apparently February is ‘find red shoes in the thrift store’ month for me.
