I can already hear my husband: "Five colors?! Why do you need the same shoes in five colors?!"

Well of course! Love both iterations.... I the yellow and navy oh! and I love that flare at the tank hem with the gray skirt. Nice!

Have a silver and cobalt pair of the lara's on order now. Hope they will work for my fussy feet

My hubby asked me why I needed so many purses since he only has one wallet.....huh?....you can't even compare a purse to a wallet. Your wallet is in your back pocket and nobody sees it....silly men!

Absolutely LOVE that first outfit IK. Super flattering. That white top is exactly what I've been looking for all summer. Do you mind if I ask the brand?

Ha, see I think buying the same thing in different colors is a very man thing to do. I feel like their philosophy tends to be: If you know it fits, why look for a different kind? It's just that men's shoes only come in brown and black. =P

My husband has like the same shirt in at least five different combinations of blue and white. =P (plain blue, plain white, white with blue stripes, blue and white checked, white with slightly different blue stripes, etc, etc).

The shoe is very simple and classic. I think buying it in several colors is practical. It's not like you bought something very trendy and therefore destined to look dated in several colors.

Thanks for the compliments! The top is a linen blend from Inhabit. It is very sheer so I only ever wear it layered - that's a tank dress.

You absolutely need them in five colours. Because in your climate, you don't get to wear lots of accessories so your shot of fun comes with the footwear! These look fab. Love outfit #1 in particular but also outfit #2.

I missed the original shoe post but would like to know where those are from if you can - very cute and practical (yes, bright color shoes are practical despite what husbands think). Like the simple skirt/top and bright shoes very much.

I agree with Suz---when it is 100 degrees out, you can't layer and even a watch can feel too hot. So the minimal pieces have to work harder--color makes these outfits work!

Love both, especially the addition of the yellow shoes in #2!

I am not usually a fan of ballet flats but these are fab! You do casual with interest and flair.

My husband is one of those men who buy the same shirt, pants, whatever in multiple colors so he would get it!

My report: This is exactly the kind of barely there super flat heel no arch shoe I am looking for. I completely missed the boat on the sizing. Based on the zappos review I got my usual size and 1/2 size down. I think I need 1/2 size up! Which is of course sold out in silver and gold (I've been looking for a metallic flat since Feb), but available in cobalt.... I think the patent leather will work for me in the toe box 1/2 up size but hard to know if the heel will stay on without trying it! I'll look forward to seeing about acquiring more pairs (colors!) of these babies if they turn out to be a good fit in the 1/2 size up.

Sarah A - so glad you like them too! I am OBSESSED. I feel like they go with everything, and so comfortable, and NOT HOT for Austin.

I do not know if I would wear these with hose, but for bare feet, they are tops.
