Executing on my fall plan, I got my package from Sundance Catalog today with two pretty silk camis and a really gorgeous broderie dress.
Sadly, the color of the dress, while super close to that of the amber cami somehow caught the light in a different way that felt much less flattering. It also had a fit issue that I don’t think would have been solved by changing size. You can sort of see it in this pic. The underarms gap where the sleeves are attached causing a wrinkle at each armpit.
I do think the camis will be useful in my wardrobe year-round and I love the eyelash lace at the neckline. (Please excuse the fresh-out-of-the-package fold lines! I’ll steam before wearing for real.)
So two keeps and a return. That means I get to try more statement dresses!
