In case any of you are wondering about paying for shipping, here are the results.
I ordered just after midnight, so technically very early Friday the 16th. This is the first year that I had the items on a wish list, so all I had to do was click to add the items to my shopping list. I had a slight delay when I couldn’t get it working on the website but it worked like a dream on the app on my phone.
For the first time I paid $12 for two day shipping, which definitely shortened this whole process. The very first item arrived late Saturday. Many other items were originally scheduled for Sunday delivery, then I received notice that changed them to Tuesday. Item(s?) scheduled for Tuesday arrived Wednesday, etc.
But, by mid day Friday I had received all of the packages. I will say that I didn’t expect that everything would arrive immediately, just significantly sooner than if I hadn’t paid for 2 day shipping. Although I don’t understand why something that was at the shipper on Monday wasn’t scheduled to (and didn’t) arrive until Friday.
Unless I either change my mind on an item or am able to grab a black pillage that comes back into stock, by sometime Monday I will have finished my returns and completed my anniversary sale. I feel lighter not having it drag on forever.
Can I say for sure that I received more of my items (not cancelled) because I paid for shipping-there is no way to prove it but it does seem so. Only one item was cancelled this year.
Will I do it again? YES. For me, it was $12 very well spent.
