Which one do you like better?

I'm looking for a nice, work appropriate dress that's also flattering for going out after work.

I love the neckline and color of this dress in blue, but it's hard for me to tell if I'm going to like the fit: (I'm petite, 5'1'', 105 lbs hourglass-pear)

I would get this one in royal blue or navy (but they don't have a petite in royal, though I often wear non-petite clothes successfully)...I'm pretty sure that this one would work well with my figure:

I like the second one better overall. The question would be whether the fitted waist matches up with the level of your waist. The first one seems more work appropriate, and the second for going out.

Why not try both and return the one you like least?

If you can't try both and then return which doesn't work, I vote for the 2nd one in royal blue. I think it could be dressed up or down with toppers and shoes.

I just read that the Donna Morgan Dress slips over the head (no zipper) So it seems to be a wrinkle free fabric. Good for traveling, putting in a suitcase or sitting for a longer period of time.
Could that help with the decision?

I think either would be work appropriate...as long as #2 isn't too fitted.
Are you not good at returning? Even if you just order 1, the chance of it not working out is pretty high (at least for me it usually is) so I always order a selection because I figure either way I"m going to need to make a return.

Well I've finally gotten in on the NAS action...I ordered the Tahari dress in blue:

I think that these will make good work pieces for my new job (if they fit!). I've decided to hold off on the donna morgan twist front dress because it's not actually part of the sale, and I feel that I can find something similar if it disappears before my next shopping expedition.
