Maybe I'm just behind the times, but I'm having a bear of a time finding a tuxedo jacket that will fit my bust (42-44). I am an inverted triangle and want something with a small lapel, very vertical, and one button, low below the bustline. Ideally, it'd be with jagged hem but I'm open to other ideas. My thinking is this is about dropping the waist and occasionally wearing open with a tuck/partial tuck for structure; but ideally I'd want something closed because of the awesome shape it gives my waist. I also think that uneven hem in the front is a bit more feminine and as you guys know I struggle to make sure my look stays a bit soft with cropped hair, and being tall and broad shouldered.

I've attached two photos of different styles that I think could work but can't find in my size. And let me know if I'm way off track here on what might look better than this. I'm thinking ideally black, but I can see some inspiration in a navy or off white too.

Generally I'd be wearing this with boyfriend jeans, especially white jeans, and occasionally at night in a more glammed up way.

One idea I've had to is to go a men's store and have the thing tailored, but I thought I'd check here, just in case.

I don't mind paying a good penny for it as i see this as something I'd get a lot of wear out of.
