I recently got this tuxedo jacket:

Is this strictly for a dressy capsule? Can it be styled to be office or casual appropriate?

I think it can be worn with faded jeans for casual and with trousers or a pencil skirt for business. There have been some great examples on Angie and the forum.

That's a really nice tuxedo jacket you bought!

I've been thinking of getting one too and had the same question so I did a little research and found this article on Kate Moss and how her black tuxedo is her go-to fashion staple. I really like it in the casual pics especially with black slim jeans, black boots and a tank style top in a dark colour or white for contrast.

Once you've figured out some of your styling thoughts I'd love to see some pics - pretty please?

I would totally wear this with jeans in the daytime. I'm sure it can be worn to the office as well, but I'll leaving to another working fashionista to help you with that. It's a beautiful jacket.

I have a dinner jacket (or smoking jacket) with a shawl collar and trim, but there's no satin on it. I am finding it incredibly versatile because it's so non-corporate. Can't wait to see yours!

Yes I would wear it to work with pencil skirt and a collarless top.

I'd wear it with jeans for sure. But also with a pencil skirt!
