Ok, I have to admit that I tried that skirt on so quickly yesterday I barely looked at it. I didn’t even give it a chance in a full length mirror. Today before I packed it up for return, I thought I should at least give it a fair shot.
Here are some super basic stylings with black tops + cropped jackets, and a pair of heeled booties. It’s not as bad as I thought. It’s not exactly slimming, and the waist does sit high, but it’s not as poufy as I thought. It does perhaps seem a little shorter than ideal though? If I get back on track and continue with a bit more weight loss, it will likely sit a bit lower but I don’t want to rely on that.
I’ll see what my husband thinks of it too, but I thought I’d go ahead and share to get your opinions. It’s such a different silhouette for me that I don’t fully trust my eye.
Brutal opinions welcome. Please ignore bedhead hair and no makeup as I took these right before heading out for a walk.
