Yes I have had those sort of wrap dresses that could make me the laughing stock of the office...... And I did have a sarong skirt in the past that made me a little nervous...

I agree with you on all of those pictures. I have no problems with tucking things in, as that's how I grew up. In the meantime I've learned to style things untucked too, of course.

My first-ever sarong was exactly that--a piece of fabric that you styled in various ways. One of my first times wearing it, before I was terribly proficient at knotting it, was in a bank in Spain. It's a good thing I had a sense of humor!

The title of this post makes me do a double-take every time I see it, because I read it as "the wild being" tucked into something & wonder how you do that.

Haha Fashintern.... I did Wonder about the title but more in case people saw an F in it!!

And yes I had a sarong like that too!!

Lol! My mind didn’t even wander that far—single mother too long, lol

The title would look dodgier in cursive!

I like the look of 2-5 but like so many, struggle with the half tuck. I do it, Loo in the mirror, and then untuck before I go out in public. It just feels contrived on me, although I love it on others. Maybe we need a Half Tuck Challenge!

I did recently full tuck for Angie’s dress challenge and liked it. A key learning for me was I prefer low contrast- I was wearing a matching top and skirt, and felt the continuous line of the fabric didn’t emphasize my short waist and short height. I am still getting over the scars of the dark skirt suit/white blouse corporate uniform I wore in the 90s.

#3 looks great. I could wear that one, and also 5. I am not a big fan of semi-tucking and would wear #1 and #4 untucked, and #2 either tucked or untucked.
