Tuck or semi - And too body con? PLUS ETA

So this outfit is a minor variation on one I've shown recently - the difference is the fairly body con turtleneck top. Jacket worn some of the day depending on warmth requirements

Questions

Too body con?

Better tucked or semi-tucked? (I didn't show untucked as I am pretty sure it would be too long.)

ETA - I forgot to ask yesterday. Do you think this require something extra around the neck? I'm still quite a "pop of colour sort of girl". I tried red beads and then a pink scarf, but wasn't happy and DD said leave them off so I did. But I'd like your opinions

I like it both ways, Anne, and I don't think anything looks too tight. It's a flattering outfit on you. I think the semi-tuck looks more casual, and I like that feel, but I may have a slight preference for the fully tucked version with this top.

I just noticed the jacket photo, and the outfit looks great with the jacket, too--very polished.

I don't think it is too body-con, fitted tops look great with pencil skirts. Both ways work to me, though I have a slight preference for fully tucked.

Thanks Sharan and Tanya. This morning I thought semi-tucked better, but by the time I took the photo I agreed with you that fully tucked looked a bit better.

It looks really good, but I may just double check what it looks like sitting down. with some tops I have to watch out for a little bit of muffin top, when I sit down, especially with skirts and tights. That's just me though. That's said I don't really mind at the weekend and mostly at work in meetings I can cover up with a jacket!

I prefer it fully-tucked, but it works either way. It looks fabulous with your jacket, and I love the skirt. Very nice.

Black beads might work, though the patterned skirt adds interest.

I think a pop of metal would look good in either gold or silver. I think the print in the skirt is enough though.

I like the full-tuck because it is a bit tidyer.

This is a really nice outfit on you. Really works well, with and without the jacket. (I think the jacket is perfect on you.)

This is terrific on you with and without the jacket. Not too body con at all -- it is meant to be fitted and works well. I do not think a pop of colour would be a great thing -- it would interfere with the graphic nature of the skirt and white top. What I might do is add a bright bag.

Thanks Suz - though I've bought my bag for the season and now I only have white! (last year's deal one was falling apart and DD8 now has it)

But I'm hardly ever seen with my bag - I wear a pink coat to work and then the bag stays in my desk all day.

Still, glad it works without the necklace.

I like the top both ways, but the semi-tucked is a more casual look. I really like the jacket with the outfit.
