TT officer coat

I think I am passing on this fab coat because the back is quite flared. I think it will really suit a small-waisted person, or someone whose style favors the fit-and-flare. I LOVE the front, but the back is not quite what I was hoping for.

And regarding fit, based on my ordering history Nordstrom suggested a size 6 for me, which is the larger of the two sizes I was considering. Just FYI.

Ah, Viva, I am so sad about this coat, for opposite reasons that you. It does say that it is black, unfortunately, and I don't want a black coat. However, I love the back design, because such cuts really suit my hourglass/very small waisted figure. There are two other coats I like so far, though I do not love yet, which I may try depending on quality/Angie's recommendations. I went through the whole selection of everything and am fairly disappointed overall - there is nothing other than jeans and sneakers that fits items from my fairly long wish list. This TT coat has made the best impression so far and I fear that I may succumb and order it despite it being black if I find nothing else I love

How did I miss it being black? I am going to edit my post - thanks, Tanya. And re: style - I immediately thought of you. It really seems made for your body. Even though it's black, I hope you will try it.

PS Also somewhat disappointed. I looked through all the knitwear and found nothing, except possibly the Ted Baker (although I think the color may not be good for me). I may just wait to see what Angie pulls together.

I may end up trying it at least. I am going to start a coupe of NAS posts, including one on coats, and will discuss it there.

I completely share your thoughts on knitwear. I want one-two high quality statement pieces, and the only ones I have noticed so far are the same Ted Baker - which is gorgeous but a bit on the thin side and the burgundy Vince, which is probably of gorgeous quality but not too exciting in cut.

Thanks! Just woke up and was about to place my order for the jacket but decided to check in here first. What a bummer, I'm passing too. Fit and flare was not what I had in mind. Did you find any shoes or boots? As soon as I have coffee I'm going to start shopping.
