Trying To Style Mint Pants: Inputs needed

I'm being something of a forum hog today!!! I'm honestly sorry about that....but I have free time on my hands and I want to make good use of it.

I'm trying to style my new mint green pants. Though I did buy a top to go with them, many of you offered helpful suggestions when I posted them earlier this week.

So, based on those suggestions, I'm trying them on with various tops. To keep matters simple (and quick) I'm wearing the same neutral sandals in all photos, but I can wear a variety of diff sandals with these pants based on the tops you all pick out to be the best.

So, onto the photos! Let me know which tops you prefer....color/length/style etc....and based on that, I am sure I can find a lot more tops to go with the pants in my large wardrobe for styling session 2.

#1: With printed white floral blouse
#2: With another pastel - pink & cream printed top
#3: With navy stripes. Some of you recommended stripes
#4: With printed grey top
#5: With floral print purple top
#6: With white & blue striped tee
#7: With B&W printed cold shoulder top
#8: With cobalt blue tee
#9: With an oversized white lacy tee
#10: With white floaty blouse
#11: With navy cotton top
#12: With plain black top
#13: With black crossover top
#14: With cream tee with floral print on neckline and crotched sleeves
#15: With the original floral green top I bought along with the pants.

Which ones do you prefer? Any other styling ideas?

The ones I like most are: #1, 5, 10, 12, 14 & 15.

I feel 4, 6, 8 & 11 are weaker than the others. The mint is strong and over powers those tops a bit I think.

I love mint! It's one of my favorite colors. Love the pants.

I have the same favorites as you, plus nos. 7 and 8. I really like the color combo of the mint and cobalt.

The mint pants were a great addition to your wardrobe, they make good pairings with lots of your tops !
I'm not keen on #4, the top seems to have a greenish tint clashing with the green of the trousers.
The other tops work well, my favourites are #1, 3 and 14, no reason why, it's just personal preference.

2,5,11, and 15. Overall, I think I prefer more body-skimming tops to the more flared and slouchy ones.

Love your new mint pants! They are fabulous. My favorites are #7 (paired with black sandals would be killer), #10 and #14. I agree with rachylou that the ones she mentioned do not seem work as well.

I have a bit of a poison eye for this color, especially when paired with anything too matchy. It reminds me of 70s polyester suits.

That being said, the pairing with cobalt feels more modern. I think one of the black tops with black sandals might make a bold statement, as well.

These mint pants go with everything! I like all outfits but especially 1 for the nice subtle print of the top, 8 and 12 for the juxtaposition of dark colors against mint, and 10 for the airiness of the outfit.

Wow, it looks like the pants are a fun addition to your wardrobe. My favorite is #1.

The trousers are lovely Manny. I'm actually going to start with which ones I'm not keen on at all and those are 4 11 and 13 as I just find the shape and colour combo either not as flattering or a bit heavy for the pants.

My absolute faves are 1,6 8 10 and 15. I also rather like the pinky top in 2. I'm a bit un-decided about the solid black top...I alternate between loving it and then wondering if it's too heavy....that probably says more about my preferences than what I like to see you in though...hehe!

1,3,5,6, 7,8, 10, 11, & 15 I love them for various reasons. Some of your tops have the same or similar colors. I am drawn to the cobalt blue colors and the mint. This looks so pretty to me.

Wow, you have so many tops that look good with those pants! They seem like a good addition since they are so versatile. In general, I prefer the lighter versions better than the darker ones, except for the cold shoulder top which I love and #3 which I also love. #8, 11, 12, and 13 are my least favorite but I don't think they look bad. It's just personal preference.

Favorites: 7, 8, and 6 due to the strong graphics which is probably a reflection of my personal taste for my own clothing.

Least favorite: 4 & 14 because I feel the colors don't work with the mint.

I find the black tops overly severe, but I think they would work well if the expanse of black were broken up by a lighter necklace.

The others work, too. I tend to have a poison eye for floral or watery prints, especially paired with a color like mint, because I associate the combo with elderly blue haired ladies. However, that is more a reflection on me since I'm approaching that age than on you who is decades away from that!

Congrats! Lots of options! No orphan here.

I am terrible with mint (unless it's ice cream), so I just want to say that you are looking very trim and these pants are a terrific fit on you!

So fun to see all these outfits! You did an excellent job playing around with these new pants. I am immediately and most drawn to #2 (pink top), #7 (graphic cold shoulder is suuuuper with the mint), #13 (gorgeous color combo with the black and cognac) and #14 (love the pretty boho vibe of this look). Also very fond of #10 (though I'd pop a white or aqua cami underneath) and #11. The printed tops all work nicely, too.

Thanks everyone. I do have a clear idea of what works & what doesn't work now. Aida - your idea of wearing an aqua cami underneath the white top is brilliant!!! I'm gonna do just that

Love mint with a mint or soft coral pattern like yours in nr 1(&15) and 2(for the coral), then with whites (9&10)and blacks

With black shoes, I like #12, #13 and #7 best. Great with your black hair.

#10 works well with metallic footwear.
