Trying out stuff at Zara - part 1

I found myself next to a Zara and decided to do some research on their Fall collection. I am not buying anything at this moment, just trying to see what is worth putting on Fall shopping list. I will keep my opinions to myself so that I do not bias you. Also feel free to comment if you think I might need a different size.

Here for consideration are three items:
1. Little grey houndstooth bomber jacket
2. Very pale blush boucle coat
3. Super chunky grey turtleneck

I'm wondering if the sleeves are a bit long in the first picture. Otherwise it doesn't seem too big but maybe it's worth checking another size?

Thanks Columbine! I am not in the store anymore and this is the smallest possible size, so I am afraid I would be stuck with such sleeves.

Omg I love the houndstooth bomber and will be checking that out when Austerity August is over. The sleeves do look a little long, but can you scrunch? It's not zipped, so it's hard to tell if a size down would work.

I like the coat - again it seems a little long in the arms, but that's the style too. Is that the same one Viva tried on?

And I love that sweater for you! it looks so cozy. Strange question considering I just talked about the other sleeves being long, but are these sleeves a little short on you?

I think the extra long sleeves for the bomber in #1 is part of "the look". Totally adore it! The blush coat gives me pause but I can't put my finger on why. And the big round sleeve structure of the chunky sweater looks super fun, how is the knit? Is it itchy?

Ha, so unsurprisingly I like the long sleeves on #1 and think the sleeves on #3 are too short. I love #1 overall. The blush coat is giving me a wee bit of a bathrobe vibe with the shape and texture.

Wow, I really love #3. Gorgeous! I wonder if it could replace my itchy Gap grey chunky knit. Is it soft?? Gorgeous on you.

I love the houndstooth jacket, too, but I hate overlong sleeves even when they are part of a "look" so that will be a problem for me, personally. The coat is gorgeous too but the fit seems a bit off. It might just be the photo angle, though. Viva also tried it today.

Thank you all for your feedback, much appreciated! I have edited the original post with the finds.

The bomber: I like it but I don't love it. The sleeves are too long, and this size, S, is the smallest one it comes in, so no sizing down. I think I like the idea of a fall bomber more than anything else, so I will pass for sure.

The blush coat: the coat itself is beautiful and I loved it on Viva. Here I tried it in S and did not like it on me at all. It also comes in XS, but it was not available in the store. The S is a definite no, but I will might like XS after all.

The grey sweater: this is my favorite piece I tried today, and I love it! It is thick, and fairly soft. I know the itchiness of knits is pretty individual. on me, it is not itchy, other than on my neck where my scar, being much more sensitive, is bothered. However, the sleeve length is giving me a pause. The sweater only comes in one size, M. On the model the sleeves look a tad short. The sweater is a bit pricey for Zara so I am going to keep thinking about it, that is the sleeves.

The problem is Zara's stock changes all the time. By September these things may be gone. Or not.

Thanks Shevia! I know that about Zara, but I am going to risk it. I am really trying not to buy anything this month. I have already failed by getting a handbag that was exactly what I wanted for a ridiculously low price; so am trying to redeem myself and firmly decided not go get anything else no matter how cool it is I guess I will see in September if/what was meant to be.

I love the knit as well. It looks so cozy. But...you mention that it is itchy on your scar when you tried it. I think that will get worse throughout a day of wear rather than better. Grain of salt of course because I am very sensitive to wool, mohair etc.
