ETA: outfit photos // trying out some summer refreshers for K/R (long)

My core neutrals are navy/ink, black, dark and pearl gray so imagine I have jeans in all those colors too. My style descriptor is "graceful, charming, rogue" and I also aim for contemporary.

-b/w leather oxfords.

-Loft white cropped high waist skinnies - Is it just a white jeans things that my legs suddenly occupy a bit more horizontal space?

-white clutch/convertible cross-body.

-ss cricket sweater - kind of adds to the whole Bertie Wooster bowling at Oxbridge feel. This one I'm leaning towards passing on because of the horizontal stripes, I may keep looking for a cropped plain white boxy tee.

-Me Too side stretch bootie - Mr. rabbit didn't like and I decided to go for a smaller heel

-skinny crops - I much prefer crops to shorts.

-raspberry drape front tank - do the proportions of this work on my frame? unsure because of added volume.

-floral men's ss cotton top - lol, I picked this because it has carnivorous plants and some other fav floral oddities on it.

-red merino pullover.

Any I should definitely consider keeping out of the bunch? Anywhere I could do better and should pass for now?

The Bertie Wooster look sounds appealing. We might need to see a picture of that. The top two items I'd pick for you, considering what I've seen you wear here, and your coloring, plus your description of the items, would be the raspberry top, and the oxfords.

Well, if you're trying to whittle anything out, I'm afraid I'll be of no help. It sounds like all of these are going to work well for you and are good choices. I can almost imagine the very cool outfits you'll work these pieces into. (Almost, because you always come up with new and fun things that I wouldn't have imagined!)

Everything seems really well thought out. I especially like the high-waist white jeans, oxfords and structured white bag. The booties and cropped pants (jeans?) look like items that are not on their own compelling, but needed to make an outfit work. Outfit builders I guess you could call them. I'm excited to see how the pink asymmetric top and the carnivorous shirt will look on you so those are both yes from me.

I must admit I have reservations about the Joseph white sweater top without seeing it on you. If it fits you like the model, it looks a little old for your style, like a golfing lady look. Not saying you can't make it work with proper styling though.

At first I thought the Merino sweater was frumpy until I clicked and saw that I had actually tried it on. I sized up one size and loved the fit, it was looser on me so the drop shoulder seam was more visible. Also it looked more fluid and boxy in good way. So this is a yes from me also, especially sized up. And wishing I had kept the sweater when I tried it on. (I put it back because I don't need any more clothes, cough cough.)

Ha! I think it all sounds and looks smashing! Tough to say without seeing any of it on you in person, but just from glancing at these pieces and hearing your report, I want you to have it all!

Thanks for the wisdom and commiseration all! The oxfords, jeans, and bag are almost definitely keep. Mr. rabbit thumbed up everything except the boots, and I'm thinking that I might want a slightly lower heel and a side zip for a workhorse boot.

Columbine and Cocolion - I'm leaning toward keeping the raspberry top, it doesn't work with everything because of the shape, and doesn't tuck that well, but it has a tendency to make plainer accompaniments more exciting.

Cocolion - the cricket sweater is one I think I'll photograph on, I liked the way it looked paired with the oxfords and hectic pants and skirts -- but it is very preppy (which would be a whole new thing for me lol) so I'll do some on camera tests. The red sweater I can't size up in because it's sold out but I'll do some camera tests as well. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

That pink blouse is stunning on you!!! I love it with all of the bottoms. I really like the red top and the Bertie Wooster sweater too. To my eye, the button up top is the weakest of the bunch, as far as traditional flattery goes. But I'm sure if you like it you'll style it wonderfully.

I love it all. The floral/pattern skirt with the cricket sweater and the merino sweater are maybe a little less fabulous but still very good. I feel like there could be a perfect top for this skirt but just not sure what. Very well done.

All I can say is well chosen! I am hard pressed to say return to any of this, but the raspberry top and the black and white oxfords are my favorites. I actually do like the vibe of the horizontal stripes are part of that, but traditional flattery is not my focus so take that into account. The men's flower top was an inspired choice. Great and versatile picks!

I think they're all great looks ( sorry, no help). I love the Bertie sweater and hope you keep it, even if you order another white top. It's just that bit different from a plain tee and I think it would be a fun piece to have, especially at the price.

Wow, the men's shirt really works well - I wouldn't have thought so without seeing the pics. Pairing it with trim and simple lined items does the trick.

Fantastic. The raspberry top is amazing with everything, especially the cropped leggings, and the man's floral shirt is fascinating. The red top looks great with all your things--love it with that long skirt. The Uniqlo tee looks more like you than the short-sleeved cricket top, I think, but I can see why black & white stripes would be on your list! The oxfords & bag are perfection.

I adore the raspberry top on you. Beautiful with your coloring. I prefer it in all looks but the more drapery black pants though. Mens shirt is awesome too.

Really everything looks great. If I were to pick my least favorite it is the orangey sweater. I love the color though.

Thanks for the feedback all! Slightly different shirt favorites, I may hold onto them all for now to see -- or at least until I've investigated other white tops a bit more.

AM - I have worn that hectic skirt with several different tops, some of which are probably better pairings. Interestingly, when I wear the skirt, people rarely seem to see anything else and it draws a lot of comments.

Good work! All look really, really, good - though series 4 and 5 are my favourite. The white sweater (series 6) is my least favourite item. The styling of the menswear shirt is inspired!
