I really like the idea of an "easy summer dress" outfit, like what Angie has shown recently. Especially a t-shirt dress, since I pretty much live in t-shirts and jeans. I have made some t-shirt dresses, and I may do so again.
However, if I find a ready-made one that works, I'm all for saving myself some time and effort! The Susina ruched t-shirt dress that Angie showed is attractive in style and price. I thought the two blue shades were good possibilities for me, and I ordered both. The light blue was available in XS and the navy was available in S, the two sizes I thought I might wear.
I'm showing both here, FYI, but the light blue was too small. It may look okay on the screen, but trust me, it was pulling across the bust, and I would not have worn it, though I really like the color.
I'd like your opinion on the navy one: Yay or Nay for Keep or Return. I was thinking "keep" until I saw the photos. Maybe this somewhat body-con style just isn't me, I don't know. Does it look like my style? I'm showing with possible shoes for this summer. While this dress would be super cute with sandals, I'm going closed-toe for the foreseeable future because of some bruised toenails from hiking.
1) ruched t-dress in moonlight blue (Susina)--this one is too small. Not considering, just showing you, in case you're interested.
2-3) ruched t-dress in navy (Susina) with sneakers
4) with heeled sling-back booties
5) with pewter flats
6) bonus pic, WIW today: floral linen box top (made by me), distressed cutoffs (Silver), pewter flats
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
