Except for Monday, when I had a morning dental appointment, I have essentially lived in sweats ... cringe-worthy stuff... yes, even out of the house.... Tues, Wed, today...

Been really busy on work and home front; I've been lucky enough to work in a shower. Today I only ventured out my door once, at 6:30 pm to pickup the kids, and wow - it was 60 degrees - FALL is here!

I have to rotate my closet this weekend. AND I'm hoping to slip out for some me-time shopping. Yeah, I know the economy is crashing but if we're going into a major depression gosh-darnit I'm going to LOOK GOOD. Hee hee.

I'm missing my clothes and dressing up. Tomorrow I do have to get cracking early and be presentable by 10 AM so I'm looking forward to that... no idea what I'll wear, but it'll be better than sweats!!!

Ahhh, Shiny, so glad you have these weeks too. Your photos are so put together! I know exactly how you feel and just think about how fab it will feel to be back into a good outfit again!

Shiny -- I am with you this week. I spent all week in my sweats and t-shirts working at home; except for yesterday when I just had to get out the house and I went to study in a cafe -- in my jeans and a tee. AJ

This is kind of funny for me to read, Shiny. I am so out of the routine of getting ready for work (since I hardly ever work anymore), that I struggle to dress for work on the rare occassion I do need to go in. The other day, I was doing some sample painting in my bedroom and didn't get showered until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. I threw on a pair of yoga pants and took one look at myself in the mirror and took them off. I didn't have plans to go out or anything, but I did have to pick up the kids at school and get out of my car to do so. So, I put on a pair of jeans instead. It was a close call.

My husband was helping me look for a job tonight, and he mentioned a few possibilities. I told him being able to dress nicely for work was on the top of my list of requirements. If I don't have a reason to get dressed, then I'll never wear my nice stuff.
