Here is my review of the Trouve Wrap Front Skirt.

Sadly, I can't recommend it to any one that has the slightest lower belly (pouch). The fabric is thin and constructed in such a way that it emphasizes the lower belly. I don't usually see myself as having a pouch .... until today. It is going back Friday.

Oh, darn it! I've worn mine already and really like it. It's probably a matter of how those crossed drapes fall on one's body. Sorry it didn't work out, Sterling. So much for skirt twins--on that one, anyway.

Firecracker. I am so glad the skirt worked for you. It is really a very pretty skirt. I had high hopes for it.

I suspect you look amazing in it. The skirt probably just draped wrong on my particular body. Maybe it was a proportion thing.

Bummer. I encourage you to keep trying if you like the style. I have the bobeau one from last year and there is no pooch with that one, I think because the wrap is bigger and doesn't leave that open bit at the top. Unfortunately this year it only comes in a maxi length.

I have the Banana Republic one and I LOVE it ! It arrived last week and I have already worn it twice . The fabric is nice and I find it to be very flattering. I ordered the size small petite as they didn't have the small regular. I am glad I did as I think that I would need to wear a heel with the regular all the time. With the petite I can do either footwear. I am 5'5" tall and weigh about 120. I am glad I ordered the small as the XS would have been too tight around my rear. Once I had my light bulb moment after Angie's post regarding the Uni leg I haven't looked back:)

Bummer about that! It looks like a really nice design. I got the cobalt blue version of the Bobeau skirt Diana posted, and liked it so much that when I saw it in the Rack in navy, I duplicated it. But it is a little bodycon. I like that one Angie posted as a more drapey option.
