That size looks much better! I like it!

Rae got you all sorted. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

This one looks trully fab, Una!!!

If you're truly asking for brutal honesty, let me say that this size is *perfection.*

Una, looks really great -- love it!

Aren't those knit panels in the arms a revelation for comfort AND sleek fit? I have a couple of these type leather jackets that I wear mainly indoors and I so much prefer to wear them than those that don't have this feature.

Notice that almost all of Rick Owen's $3,000 - $5,000 leather jackets have these knit panels? It isn't a cheap/cost cutting factor, but a specific design-for-utility one. Plus I love the look with the subtle added visual texture they bring.

Bumping for any more opinions, just in case - and thanks so much for all the input so far!

This looks like a perfect fit!

On another note, Una, what brand running shoes do you wear -- if you don't mind my asking? I'm not a runner, but walk a lot and wear running shoes. I was fitted with Mizuno Wave at a special shoe store --even went up whole size. This summer two of my toenails turned black and fell off. My dermatologist says it is from wrong fitting shoes, so I'm on the hunt for a good pair!

Are you seriously thinking of returning this Una? I thought it was a done deal

Denise, I wear Brooks. Will PM you!

Cathy, I'm just making sure the eyes of YLF don't notice some glaring issue - because after all the other comments about the jacket not fitting right in the dressing room and made for tall people I was thinking it would be an automatic retrun.

This looks great on you, but then the bigger size looked good too. But this is better. I have a very, very short torso and I am not an IT, although my shoulders aren't small at 39" circumference. The jacket looked fairly awful on me but it was an M.

You should definitely keep this. No question about it.

I wish it were easier for Suz to try on, it might work on her.

Gotcha Una. This jacket definitely works proportionwise. You have struck leather jacket gold with this and the Theory one!

Didn't comment on your last post, but this one looks amazing on you.

I'm wondering if I should mail this to Suz to try on - might be cheaper than ordering from Nordstrom and returning. How would that work? Then she can mail it back to me!

Oh, Una - you are so sweet. I am pretty sure it won't work for me, though. Like Denise, I have 39" shoulders and like her, I am not an IT, and UNLIKE Denise I have zero bust and a giraffe neck. So I think Angie is right - even if the jacket fits well, the lack of a collar will just look dumb on me. Of course I might be wrong, but today to experiment I tried on a similar styled jacket at H&M (obviously, not gorgeous leather, but it was collarless and had this fairly low stance and wide, dramatic lapels...although in this case they were crisp and not soft).

Anyway..the point is, that jacket looked pretty horrid on me. I compared it to a few more traditional blazers and a pleather moto-style jacket with collar. Those styles looked about 400% better, even in crappy fabrications.

If I were in an actual store I would try it on just to be sure, but I think you should own this and love it and look gorgeous in it. I will SO enjoy seeing you in it!

Well, it continues to amaze me how different body types really are, and that I can wear this jacket, AND that I knew it when I saw it, but assumed it would work for you too. This is why I'm no stylist!
