Jeans shopping is the worst. Pants shopping in general is awful. I often have trouble finding pants or jeans that fit perfectly off the rack. I've just kind of accepted that I have to buy pants/jeans that fit my butt, and then have a tailor take in the waist. It's a total pain in the arse, yes; but it's better than the endless trying-on and frustration.
I like Mother Looker jeans for a skinny jean that has plenty of stretch and fits comfortably, pictured below. I am finding the higher rise to be good on me, when the rise was lower, I was worried that my jeans would slide down. I must say jeans shopping is not something I enjoy, up there with buying swimsuits.
Thank you Angie! I will definitely try out the jeans from Levis and Loft. I have a feeling that I might get the perfect pair from there.
Zoiechic, what is a wide leg crop trend? I have no clue about it!
Bijou, I agree with you on the high rise point. Even i look for high rise jeans all the time.
Cindysmith I second your opinion! Thank you so much! Going to the tailor and getting your jeans tailored is really a pain in the arse! But, the fit is worthy of the pain!
I'm a pear shape and have found the Levis Denizen at Target fit well. Also Lucky Brand Sweet n low, sweet n straight, and lolita's. Higher price denim Joe's are my go to.
