Tried the denim skirt in Winter

This was today's outfit with the cropped jacket and the ruffled denim skirt, in white.
I tried to follow the inspiration from the ruffled skirt with the cropped jacket from Angie's suggestions and decided to bring out the cream colored Lauren Jeans skirt that was sitting in my closet.
My outfit made me remember why I don't generally wear denim skirts in Winter, the skirt was staticky although much less than the initial denim skirt (a pencil one).
I always get that horizontal "sitting" crease on my denim skirts, it looks a bit weird but it is what it is.
I really love the patchwork skirt from Angie's collection but it is quite pricey.
I don't think I will be wearing denim skirts in Winter anymore, the static is too much but I thought I would share today's outfit.
Are you wearing denim skirts in Winter? I suppose a good spray of Static Guard may help.

Love that shape of skirt, and am admiring that Brahmin bag!

On static cling days, I often wipe my damp hands on my legs after I wash them in the ladies room -- it can take away the problem for an hour or two!

Thanks, Angie. I will try with a black turtleneck, but when the weather is a bit warmer.
I thought the white soles of the Timberland high tops would match the skirt and soften the black tights a bit, plus they made my ankles feel warmer.
I hope that was not too weird.

Beth Ann, that's a great idea for preventing static. I will give it a try.
I have a love-hate relationship with my Brahmin bag. It is light weight and fits a lot of stuff but it also eats up the skin of my little finger if I am not careful when closing it. If the end of the zipper were sewn into the purse instead of being loose that would not happen...
