I have a two years-old pair of fake Doc Martens in 'patent leather' (aka shiny plastic)
The sides are not shiny anymore due to rubbing and they don't look very pretty. I just applied some lip balm to one of them (yes!! lol) and it seems to do the trick, it's siny again, but I don't think it will last that much.
Is there any way I can 'save' them? Mine look like #2.
Also, what do you think of the cute imitation in #1? They are from H&M. Any experience with their shoes so far?
