I recently moved and changed my address in Nordstrom's system, but there wasn't a way to delete my old address. I'd ordered things and had them sent to my new address. But...then I made another large order, and I don't know whether it was a glitch in the system or whether I'd been careless and didn't check the correct address.

When I got the text that one of the items had been delivered, (a bar cart) I got excited and ran to the porch...not there. That's when I discovered it had been delivered to the old address.

The customer service agent didn't question me one iota. She didn't even have to think about the dilemma and placed the order for another one immediately (and even gave me a discount.) I offered to try to contact the new homeowner, but she said, "but that would be so inconvenient for you."

I'm literally BLOWN AWAY and the grace and elegance of this whole transaction!
