Went to visit my mom today, for the first time in several months, since she lives in a very high case area. Very happy to see her

Think this fits Sal's challenge- mostly classic but the color of the top is trendy. Wish it was always available! Neutrals and minimalism feel just right to me these days and happy with the outfit. All the pieces have been workhorses except the top and earrings since they're new.

Yes, she's doing ok. She has a lot of friends she talks to all the time so she's not bored. Out of my and DHs parents, she's the best adapted.

I don't see colours as ever being out of style if they suit you, but wearing a trendy colour can be lots of fun too.

I think tiger's eye, amber & tortoiseshell accessories look wonderful on fellow warm toned, deep autumns - I haven't plucked up the courage to buy any accessories in those materials yet but I'm sure you wear them with panache!
