This trench coat is easily 17 years old but in perfect condition. It's by Cole Haan and very well made with a zip out lining. It was purchased to wear for work over suits and jackets.

My lifestyle has changed dramatically and I no longer have the need for a coat to fit over a suit or jacket, so I haven’t worn it in a very long time. I tried it out the other day and I’m wondering if the style and fit is OK enough to wear with just a lighter knit or button down. What do you think, should I keep it or toss it?

1. Buttoned all the way up, no lining and no jacket. Belt tied in back.
2. Back view.
3. How I wore it, no lining over a lightweight sweater.

All input is greatly appreciated.
