I just scored my Holy Grail of trench coats!

This is an item I've been seeking for a long, long time. I found it at Ann Taylor Outlet, about $150 with 25% off (storewide discount right now); if you have coupons you could do even better.

It's off-white/cream, perfect length, lined, structured, and best of all - no epaulettes!!!! It has a classic silhouette including a belt, but somehow flatters my strong shoulder line and wider waist. I don't feel like a linebacker in it. It's fairly fitted, but I did try it on with a spring-weight suit jacket underneath, and it'll work.

For anyone who struggles to get the trench coat to work, give this a try! (Yes I will take photos when I get a chance)

ATO had a ton of new stuff in, totally different than AT. I was in AT last week and was very disappointed. They seem to have less and less petites, and I don't like the spring colors. They don't suit me - I look all washed out or just ....blechhhhh....

ATO, on the other hand, is big on navy, turquoise, citron, and cobalt. Yes, more like last year's colors... but they work for me.
