So about 7:00 pm last night, while figuring out how to pack everything, I realize we no longer have a larger suitcase, only carryon size. Was about to leave for Target but decided to check in for my flight first. Confirmation code doesn't work. Call the airline. They tell me I need the confirmation number from the airline whose mileage I used. Look me up by name and see no reservation anywhere. Panicked, I drive to the office and log in with the other confirmation code which I'd left there. Flight is at 9:30 pm not 1:50 am as the itinerary says - that is the arrival time. Drive home, throw what I can manage into an old duffel bag, and take off again. Make it with seconds to spare.

Am now sitting in Seattle at 3 am. Had a chance to look through what I packed and most necessities are there. No toothbrush, no reading material, no computer and no shoes. Looks like the Gidigios (which I wore) are it for 5 days!
