Thought I'd write a short overview over how I did with the travel capsule you can see here.

First off, I was super glad to have my rain jacket, jeans and sneakers for Austria! Just right. And I did a last minute addition at home because I wore my wool cardigan in the car the morning we left. I only wore it on the first three days, but I was glad to have it. I could have left the breton shirt at home though, same as my denim jacket. Croatia was much too hot and I preferred the cardigan and rain jacket beforehand. And I didn't wear the thin longsleeved shirt, not even once.

My dad's sun hat was a godsend, I wore the hat and my sunglasses most of the time. And I mostly wore the three dresses. It was very hot (at least to me) and the dresses made it bearable. I wore a bralette instead of a proper bra with them and especially the two jersey dresses were perfect to throw over the bikini on beach days. I only wore the shorts on three days I think, including the car trip home. The swim shoes worked out perfectly, they stayed on my feet, were comfortable and looked good. And I'm so glad I bought those slides at the last minute (although you can see they were cheap, they have taken a beating already) - I was almost eaten alive by mosquitoes at the start of the holiday and I couldn't stand to wear my sandals because I had maybe ten to fifteen bites around both ankles. So I wore the slides way more than my sandals.

I did pack a second bikini, but I didn't need it. It all dried quickly anyway... So all in all I definitely packed too much "just in case" stuff!

The following pics are a mix of "outfit" pics and scenery, taken by three different cameras and my phone (so quality might vary). I didn't carry around my DSLR all that often because I didn't want to take it to the beach, I often simply used my phone.

Hiking wasn't a problem with my sneakers and jeans because it didn't rain. I had to fight my vertigo, but it was worth it!

The old town was beautiful. The view from the bell tower was great, but the stairs up there were the worst - I swear I died a thousand deaths.
