Below in finds are items packed for an 8 day car trip through New York, Vermont, New Hamshire, Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and back home to Ontario. The weather was perfect. On the hot side for 5 days, then cool mornings, warm days, and cool nights.
What I packed worked out perfectly, and almost everything got worn. I’m considering it my best travel capsule to date! I was comfortable physically, and felt like I looked like myself - but more consistently put together than usual.
My favourite combinations were: 1)black wide legged linen pants, cropped mariner (sent to me by a YLF’er who was editing her stripes!), and navy sneakers. 2) The lace tank top was a workhorse and looked good with black shorts, and another time with the OTF crops. 3) the outfit below (my only photo from the trip!) would have been too warm earlier in the trip, but was perfect for travelling home at the end. It’s a very authentic ‘me’ look.
The only items not worn were the caramel coloured Ecco’s and the straw hat. I preferred my converse, and the navy Tilley hat was lighter weight, and had a cord to anchor it in windy days.
Thanks for looking!
