I posted about my travel capsule for our Kimberley cruise previously and wanted to report that I was very happy with it. I didn't take an extra LS shirt as many suggested and didn't need it. We weren't out in the sun for any great lengths of time. The only item I didn't use was one of the hiking T shirts (not pictured) as we did not do as much hiking as I thought we would. I could have handwashed items but the stewardess called for washing a few times, so washed the main items twice and that was enough to get me through.
For those who have thought about going to the Kimberley, start saving now - it is expensive and totally worth it. We have wanted to do it for 20 years and were not disappointed. The scenery is amazing and it is mostly about the scenery. It was the most inactive holiday I have ever done. I'm not sure if we did less hiking that a friend who did the same trip (same boat) last year or whether it was because it was later in the season or whether because the majoity of the passengers (total 13) were in their early-mid 70's and mostly unfit/overweight/injured or all three and did not seem keen on too much walking. Have added a couple of pics for you. The waterfall is The Cascades at Prince Regent River (waterflow was low during our trip) and after the skipper nudged the bow of the boat under the waterfall so that we could all get wet, he then anchored just out of the gorge with a view of the falls, while 12 guests go into the 8 person spa, drinking champagne being served to us be the crew - its a hard life!!
