JAileen, Emily and Tanya, you're honey-pies. Thank you.

Carla, stay OUT of the tourist areas of Amsterdam. You'll have a much nicer trip. FWIW, don't wear Athleisure as casual wear. It's thought of as odd in the NL. It's just not done, unless you are inside a gym or yoga studio.

Your papa looks great and so happy in these pics. Wish I could pull those food pics out and eat them. . .

Don't you have the same (Caslon linen) dress that Inge is wearing?

Donna F, I have a similar dress, but not exactly the same stripe.

Glorious pictures Angie. Thanks for sharing. You, Inge and your family all look fabulous. Love your dad in his red shirt. And I am very glad to hear that he is doing better. Welcome back!

Oh these delightful photos made my day! You and your family look so happy and the town looks charming, the food looks amazing, dear Inge looks lovely, and you look like the polished, totally fab world traveler you are!

Omg the most gorgeous trip photos ever!!! What a gorgeous town. Just wonderful
And amazing food pics. I'm a total foodie and I feel like I am with you. Your dad has the most beautiful smile. He looks so happy and how incredibly special your brother could be with you. Family. It doesn't get better than that. And inge - friends are the family we choose. So happy for you that it was such a joyous beautiful trip!!!

Brooklyn, Papa looks good in brights, doesn't he. He was NEVER one to wear black, but likes navy.

Susie, I appreciate your gracious words more than you know.

Gryffin, I hope your parents are doing better too. I know you get it, and you're in my thoughts. Didn't know you were a foodie. HIGH FIVE. Inge is family. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for sharing these pictures, I am smiling as I go through all of them. All of them are beautiful, your outfits, the yummy food, the small town, but specially you, your family and Inge. Your dad looks so happy, I am glad he is doing well.

Welcome back Angie and thanks for sharing your photos. The food, the outfits, the bright colors, the scenery...all lovely photos, but nothing tops the photos of your papa. He looks vibrant and happy, and I am sure you are treasuring every moment you spent with him.

My favourite outfit is the denim on denim plus yellow plus platinum hair!

My favourite pic is the one of your dad and your brother on the bench.

My favourite meal would be the fresh bread and cheese!

These might be your best travel pictures yet Angie! Everyone looks splendid - your Dad like he is in top spirits and mighty dapper, your brother is a chip off his block, Inge looks serene and lovely, and you look like a beautiful summer flower in her ideal environment. Thank you so much for sharing!

I am so pleased your Dad is doing better. I am flat tack today but just wanted to say how lovely you look in peach/coral - so so pretty. The food looks great (doesn't good food just make a trip!!).

Your complexion sings in those colors! You are very much the epitome of elegant and feminine style. It's wonderful to see the delicious food and of course, the sweet smiles on the faces of Inge, your brother, and father. Thank you so much for sharing!

What fantastic photos, Angie! Thanks for sharing them and your notes about your trip. I have a favorite outfit here--pics 21-23. I really like that peach and ink combo on you! And the top and cropped jeans are so fab together.

Thank you for sharing your pictures Angie, they are beautiful. You look stunning as usual with a beautiful inner glow that just radiates. I especially love the coral - it looks so pretty you. I am so glad your adorable Papa is doing better. No doubt spending precious time with you and your brother is a tonic for him. And seeing your pictures has been a tonic for me too!

Such lovely photos, outfits, food, family and friends. Your closeness with your dad and brother are so wonderful to see despite the distance between your homes. Thanks so much for sharing such a colorful and happy visit, and can't wait to see your and inge's shopping scores!

the food looks fab, the town looks lovely....but the pictures with you, your dad and your brother are out and out wonderful!

I love it when you post travel recaps. Glad to hear that your dad is doing well. I absolutely adore your family pictures, it really shows that you are all fun, energetic, and friendly and you love good food! I want to hang out with you!

OMG, Your Papa never looked better and more cheery! And You guys, the two siblings are radiating, too! Loved ALL the outfits, and yummy food, thanx for posting, you made my day seeing such a happy family!:-)

Gorgeous colour palette! LOL'ed to see you all eating ice cream outside the Hema.

And you're so right about Amsterdam. I mean, I love this town, but maybe stay in Utrecht instead?

You photos are gorgeous and I loved seeing your stylish family. I just can't get over how well coordinated your capsule is. I'm floored by your every day fab style. Glad to hear that your father is doing better too! Great that you got to see Inge and your brother on the trip as well. How awesome is that!

Kellygirl, your gracious words are appreciated.

Chris, kkards, Dianna, Marie, Amy, Lyn67 and Aquamarine, your words are therapeutic and make a difference. Thank you for taking the time to write them.

Liz, you need to move to Utrecht! I do prefer it to Amsterdam. And I love the Hema.

Bella, we want to hang out with you too.

Sharan, shades of acidic orange are kind to me. That's why I wear them! Hugs.

Smittie, there you go. Sorted. I'm with you on the bread and cheese - the NL does the BEST.

Sal, thanks for chiming in despite the fatigue.

Jamie, your words are poetic and soothing. Much love to you.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I love how happy you are and that your brother was able to join for some of your visit!
And, you look wonderful in every photo!

It was just so wonderful catching up, spending the day together, doing some shopping and hanging out with you and your darling Papa, Angie! I'm so glad your Papa was doing better and it always warms my heart seeing how close you are. The food was delicious, as always, and you know I feel exactly the same way about you!

You looked stunning in your denim skirt outfit, and fresh as a daisy, even in 31-degree weather;-)

Gryffin - You are so right.
Suz - Waving right back at you:-)
Thanks so much everyone for the kind comments, you are all so sweet.

Inge, you are family. I ALWAYS look forward to our time together. Priceless. Thanks for the kind words.

I love to see you and your Papa just BEAMING! A smile is always the best accessory (though you have quite a few contenders in your capsule wardrobe!)

JuniperGreen, you're lovely, and make me laugh. Thank you.

Ah, sweet Angie! I'm touched and honoured that you share such personal photos with all of us. I'm struck by how joyful all those bright colours look on you. When I wear brights, I feel almost as though they are shouting at me all day long; it sounds ridiculous but I feel more agitated than upbeat. So, it's particularly fun to see you look like such a natural wearing them, and for me to enjoy the experience vicariously.

And what a treat to see photos of lovely inge, too! Such a stylish pair of friends, and such incredible cheekbones on both of you; oh, I'm envious!!!!

Mac, your thoughtful and kind comments are a treat to read. Thank you.

You must be so relieved your father is feeling better!
Seeing #25 makes me happy.
Your colour palette is delightful and chic.
