DH and I both had work reasons to be in Europe so decided to tack on a weeks vacation at the beginning. The schedule ended up being:
France (vacation): 6 days
London (work): 5 days
France (vacation): 2 days
France (work): 4 days
So much to see and do. It was a fun trip - and a packing challenge to fit it all in a carryon!
Here’s what I planned, and some takeaway comments for next time.
Work: 1 navy suit. 1 black suit. 1 pair blue heels. 1 pair black heels. White trench coat. Used pressing services at both locations to make sure clothes looked crisp.
Fun: jeans x 2. Gear tennis shoes and Seibel sneakers. Barbour jacket and vest.
Both: all tops, black flats, wrap dress.
Everything ended up worn, but probably could have streamlined the tops a bit. (Not all finds below) When I packed I was mentally choosing items for work or fun, and could have had more dual duty items.
