Transparent Capri Leggings? And CUTE top

Browsing new stuff at Navabi and came across transparent capri leggings in taupe and black. At first look I was a little aghast but they quickly grew on me. I am thinking this could be a good less stark option for shorter summer dresses.. so long as the wind isn't blowing... Now I'm thinking mesh capri leggings in more colors would be really fab.

This top on the other hand I'm so in love with. The flowers, the colors, the striped trim... The flowers are smaller than I usually wear though...

Sure, as long as you are not wearing them as pants (but rather under skirts/dresses) I think sheer leggings are great for summer. Although the price on the pair you've linked seems unreasonably high! I think you can get sheer footless tights at a lot of places for way less.

I'm confused. Aren't transparent leggings just basically tights? I think if you look for capri tights you will find the same thing for much less money.

The top is really cute, though! I love the colors.

I think your right that I might be able to find something similar for less. To me these look more like a thicker less stretchy mesh than tights and with the ruching somewhat looser around the leg...

A lot of capri tights are either opaque or more or less sheer depending on how much they have to stretch in certain places giving them uneven coloring. These might do the same but they looked like they might not..

The gray version almost seemed like it had a two layers. Could be an optical illusion?
Nice colors on the blouse. I think the contrast trim is keeping the print from being frumpy.

WOW, I can't believe you posted this...what a coincidence. I stopped at a mall in Boston today and saw a young woman wearing them as pants. It was horrible. Everyone she walked by turned to look, including me. Hers were navy and she was wearing a blue and white striped sweater.

I agree that they would look very cute under a dress or skirt, as long as everything else was very well covered I think that you have the right idea on these.
