Track pants: Keep or not?

I decided to order track pants from Nordstrom to give them a try, and this pair is so comfortable and apparently does not wrinkle, which is going to be great for work travel. But they are definitely a big step out of my comfort zone. I tried them on with several looks and would love some opinions. Keep or return? The one look I am particularly unsure of is #2, the mixed media top, which is fitted and long and hard to style (any suggestions?). Also, all the heels I am wearing are on the high side. If I keep, I need a pair of point-toe kitten heels, for sure. Thanks!

I quite like them though part of me wants to see them also one size up.
I especially like them in #3,4 and 6.
I would like #2 better if the top was less fitted, kind of repeating the fluid style of the pants.

I would keep.
Looks really good with the jacket and longer tops.
Shoes in #2 are Fab with them, and here I agree that the top may need more drape to look its best with the pant.

They look great on you. I completely understand the styling challenges, however, and think you have done a brilliant job just playing around with them. I agree they look better with a point toe but they also look good with the shoe in #2. And I like them with the jacket. 3, 4, and 6 are my favourite looks.

I really like them one you! - and think that you've got them styled very well. Did you try a size up? Just curious to see how they would look on you if they were just a little bit more fluid. I think that your tops all look good - maybe try a semi tuck with #2 and see how that works? I've found that the tops that seem to look best with mine are fluid, rather than fitted.

i've been debating this look as well. i must say, seeing them on you has made me see that they really do work for work.
my fav is #3, but i'm partial to blazers. i like the shoes that you have paired them with, now i'm thinking about what they would look like with booties and/or oxfords.

Thanks for all the support and great ideas, everyone. I'm still on the fence, although I have a lot more confidence about wearing them if I do decide to keep them, thanks to you.

I ordered a size up to see if some extra fluidity makes an important difference in look and feel -- thanks, Sveta and Marley, for pushing me in that direction.

And kkards, I have the same question about booties. In a short time, the open toe-shoes might be out of the question here in Maine, so I would love to be able to wear these with booties. I'm waiting for my new black booties to arrive so will try them with the larger pair of track pants.

Wow, great job styling these pants, #1, 3, 4, and 6 look perfect to my eye! It will be interesting to see how the size up works, but you have definitely shown us some work-ready looks.

Love the stylings but I am also interested to see if the size up gives a bit more fluid look. I think booties are great styling idea for cold weather too!
