I'm meeting a recruiter named Immeke on Tueday. Is this a Dutch name, and if so, how in the world do you pronounce it? It sounded Dutch to me, but what do I know?

That does sound like a Dutch name. Here is the pronunciation phonetically:

iem – ma- ka

Not a silly question at all Maya. Like Angie, I think it definitely looks like a Dutch name.
