Torrid jeans in Manhattan?

Hello, Ladies. I'm off to NYC in the morning; my very favourite city. Won't be doing a ton of shopping since neither my schedule nor my closet space will allow it. But, I'm intrigued by what several of you have told me about Torrid Jeans: that they carry size 16 skinny jeans! Do any of you know a store in NYC that carries this line? I'd love to try some on and see how they look on me.

Torrid jeans are only sold at Torrid. It's a plus size "trendy" store and a sister store of Hot Topic. I actually own skinny jeans from Torrid and they're great. Mine are the actual Torrid brand, but they also carry several other brands of skinny jeans so there is a great selection to try on. I just searched for Torrid locations but there doesn't seem to be a store in NYC. There are a couple NY locations but I don't know their proximity to NYC. You can look here:

Westchester is the closest location. It's accessible by public transport (Metronorth) but it's quite the pilgrimage, and since your schedule doesn't allow for it I would probably say pass. Ordering (and possibly returning) would be much more practical.

Mac, if you do decide to order them, I have these and I would recommend them:

They're not too skinny and the dark was has held up really well. I thought they would fade instantly in the wash, but they're as dark as they were on day one!

Ladies: thanks so much for the advice! As it turns out, I had no time to shop for jeans while in the city (or even to check this website!) but I definitely appreciate your kindness.

Marianna - I might just have to order a pair of those jeans the next time I'm in the US (late November.... I'll order them in time to have them waiting for me at the hotel). Any other suggestions for plus-sized premium jeans would be welcomed with open ears : )
